PASTOR: CHRISTOPHER ANTONE
 |
Ministry
Experience: Previous to my time as pastor, I served as
Associate/Youth Pastor for 8 years under my father Chester
L. "Chet" Antone. In this facet I worked in organizing the
Sunday school, leading a bus ministry, building a successful
youth department, and assisting the Pastor in any other area
needed. I have now been the Senior Pastor of Joy Baptist
Church 4 years and look forward to as many more as the Lord
will allow me to have. |
 |
Goal For
Ministry: As the Pastor, my goal is to glorify God in
everything I do and say. I plan on leading our church into
even greater harvest fields for the reaping of souls for the
Lord's family. Our one and only goal at Joy Baptist Church
is to see more souls come to know Christ as their personal
Savior. |
 |
Fruit of
Labor: What strikes me most about Pastor Chris is his
strong faith and dedication to the ministry. Throughout the
past twelve years, he has put a lot of hard work into
prospering various ministries of our church. The wisdom he
has gained in serving God faithfully gives him the ability
to assess many problems and situations that arise within the
church and to apply biblical solutions to each. As a result
of his labor God has blessed Joy Baptist Church tremendously
with new members and immense spiritual growth. Pastor Chris
loves people and more importantly loves God. His loving
spirit is seen in the way that he gives great care to the
members of his church, and is always willing to give someone
another chance just as Christ always gives us another
chance. Joy Baptist Church can truly say that Pastor Chris
is a "good and faithful servant." |

DEACON: RICHARD HULEN
 |
Ministry
Experience: My wife and I have been taking care of the
church's janitorial needs for two years. We have also been
involved with vacation Bible School for two years; and I
have filled the position of head usher for six months. |
 |
Goal For
Ministry: As a deacon, my goal is to obey the Word of
God, and to make myself available to serve God, our pastor,
and this church. |
 |
Fruit of
Labor: One of Joy Baptists Church's greatest
testimonies, Bro. Richard is a humble and loving servant.
Years ago, he would sit in his van waiting on his wife to
get done with church; but after his salvation and through
the Lord's working in his life he would become our first
deacon to be ordained. Richard has made great strides here
at Joy. He has always kept the church clean and provided
assistance when needed. |

BUILDING MANAGER: KEVIN DUDLEY
 |
Ministry
Experience: I have been a church usher for the past
seven years and a church accountant for the past two years.
I have been in business management for over twenty years and
now own my own maintenance business. |
 |
Goal For
Ministry:
As building
manager, my goal is to make sure that our building and
property glorify God. Our church building should not
distract from the Preaching of Gods word and should be a
welcoming, comfortable, and safe environment to both members
and visitors. |
 |
Fruit of
Labor: The newest member of our staff is Bro. Kevin. He
has taken over the monumental task of Building Supervisor,
and is responsible for the care and upkeep of the old
building we are in. Since Kevin has been here, we have seen
the addition of a new handicap ramp, clothing and food
closet, and he has spearheaded our lawn maintenance to which
all the men of the church contribute. Kevin is a valued and
important part of our team here at Joy Baptist Church. |
 |
Future Goals: Bro. Kevin and his wife Wendy have
surrendered to go on the mission field. Come March
they will be moving over to Mongolia and assisting our
current missionaries, the Cofers, with a building project.
They plan to stay as long as the Lord leads them and how
ever long it takes to finish the project at hand. |
